London to Surrey
Sometimes life takes a turn and doesn’t pan out the way you expect. Me and my partner made a big decision in our OE, we took an opportunity that would take us out of London and our comfort zones. We moved to Surrey.
First Euro trip. 10 months in to OE.
Crazy right? Generally, Kiwis take off on Euro trips every other month. Not me. I was too busy tryna survive in the climate of the cost of living crisis in the UK. London, to be more specific.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
When you look at that question, do you remember the answer you would’ve given when you were a child? The answer will always vary depending on who you ask. For me, ever since I was little I knew I wanted to be an inventor. The idea morphed as I got older; it then turned into “creator,” which I guess is kind of the same.
Going to work when you're unemployed
Looking for work in London is simple in the sense that there are so many jobs out there but hard when you realise everyone else is doing the same. So let me share with you the good, the bad and the “how to make the job hunt a bit more bearable”.

About a month ago, my partner and I quit our jobs, packed up our lives; fit them into two suitcases and moved to one of the most expensive cities in the world, London.
